A vintage English silver plate chamberstick, dating to the mid-century, circa 1940s–1960s. It has a short baluster stem rising to a tulip-shaped socket with a beaded-edged sconce, set on a wide dished drip pan with a looped finger ring handle to one side.
Crafted in silver plate (EP, electroplated) over a zinc-based metal, and polished back to a bright, even shine. There is light heat wear inside the candle socket, consistent with decades of use.
