Easy Summer Solstice Simmer Pot Recipe
Fill your home with solstice-inspired scents and aromas with this super easy recipe!
Simmer pots are a fantastic way to fill up your space with gorgeous aromas without burning candles or oils, and with the Summer Solstice upon us on June 21st what better opportunity to try one out than this!
The Sinter Solstice represents the transition from action to nourishment, and from dark to light, so there is an abundance of summer scent-combos to choose from such as lemon, rosemary, lime, strawberry, ginger, and vanilla to enhance that bright and citrusy summer vibe.
You can make this simmer pot on the stove or, my favourite way, in the slow cooker.
For safety reasons, please NEVER leave your simmer pot unattended for long periods of time.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lemon, sliced
- A sprig of rosemary
- 2-4 strawberries
- 1 chunk of ginger (or 1 teaspoon of ground ginger)
- (You can also add ingredients like limes, mint, vanilla, and juniper berries!)
HOW TO MAKE:
- Add all ingredients to a pot of water (you can use moon or sun water for a magickal boost!)
- Let simmer and refill the water as needed
